Once you're done, there's more to see in the game - we'd recommend that, unless you are stuck, you only delve into what else is out there once you have completed a Pacifist playthrough. You won't be able to sell anything until about half way through the game, but as healing items are reasonably cheap you're better off throwing away old weapons and armour in the early stages to make room rather than hanging on to them. 
Unlike most RPGs there's not a lot of loot to be had so you'll need to buy most of your supplies - healing items should be your priority and you should try and keep a fully stocked inventory on you as much as possible. Talk to everyone and look at everything - your interactions with the main characters will only give you the broad story details, and to truly get a sense of the world you're in you'll need to stop and smell the roses. Although you can probably breeze through the game in a few hours, it's important to take your time if you want to get the full experience. Even during its toughest moments it will be quite forgiving once you've caught on to its tricks, and it will take pity on you if you're really struggling. You don't have to kill anyone, and unless you're going to kill everyone you're better off without any bloodshed - not only is it the only way to experience the 'true" ending, the vast majority of your encounters with enemies are a lot easier if you leave your weapon unused. 
So before you plough in and start hacking away at everything you see, here's a few things to bear in mind: On first glance Undertale may seem like a fairly standard retro-styled RPG, but underneath the surface there's a lot of weird stuff going on. Highly recommend this game to anyone that likes RPGs.Watch on YouTube 5 Secrets Hidden In The Music Of Undertale Undertale walkthrough for a Pacifist run for Switch, PS4, Vita and PC I thought the music was very solid, and absolutely loved a few of the songs, including the one from the Muffet (Spider Boss) fight, and how fitting it was for the fight and dialogue of the fight. I loved how your choices truly affected you in the game, and would love to see how much things can change based on my decisions. It was so strange and entertaining, and different from so many other games. I would love to do another play through - and not necessarily even for the pacifist or genocide route - to experience the story again. And then I killed a few more, and a few more, it was so much easier and quicker to cut down the random monsters - learning later that I in fact had become the monster :'( At some point I kept dying, and thought "well, if kill a few of these monsters I can level up and get some extra gold as well" to make things easier.
Her death had a profound impact on how I continued the game, choosing to spare everyone else, until near the very end. I do regret that I killed Toriel at the beginning - at the time thinking that I needed to do so to progress the story. Throughout the battles, I thoroughly enjoyed the different options, and found trying to spare the different characters challenging and highly entertaining. I finished up Pokemon Let's Go, and wanted to play something a little different, and it sure was! I went into it blind aside from the knowledge that my choices (kill or spare) would yield differing results at some point in the game. I just had a chance to play this gem of a game over the holiday break.
